Film lovers, unite! This month, from 5-16 October, the 60th edition of the BFI London Film Festival rolls in to town. With so many films being screened, it’s tricky to know where to start your viewing. So we’ve put together a list of must-see films, from the popular to the lesser known. We enlisted the help of movie buff and London-based film development executive, Jessi Gray, to help us narrow down the top films to see this year. Here’s what’s topping our want-to-watch lists:

The big headliners you won’t want to miss…

Paterson

La La Land

American Honey

The Birth of a Nation

Lion

The films creating a buzz (that you might not have heard about yet)…

Moonlight

Manchester by the Sea

A Date for Mad Mary

Divines

Lady Macbeth

 Goldstone

Check out the BFI London Film Festival website for screening times and locations.
