Deezer playlist selecta, Maunika Gowardhan

With the festive season in town, we’re getting the party tunes prepped with a select playlist in collaboration with Deezer. This month’s playlist is ‘Musical Munchies: Let’s Celebrate’ and you’re in for a treat. With a helping hand from the Khoollect community and some special guests we will be publishing the playlist at the end of the month with a tasty recipe to go along with it.

One person who has kindly offered a helping hand is chef and food writer, Maunika Gowardhan. We asked her one simple question and here was her response…

What’s your favourite celebratory song for the festive season, and why?
For me during Christmas, any festive songs from Frank Sinatra always are a part of the family playlist; especially on Christmas, even when we spend some quiet time at home with a few glasses of Irish coffee or mulled wine by the tree. One of my favourites is ‘It came upon a midnight clear’.
