BIG PLANS, SMALL SPACE WEEK SIX: Getting on a level

As much as we want summer to stick around for a whole lot longer, September’s approach is becoming more and more welcome.

Mainly because that’s when the Khoollect HQ renovation project is scheduled to be finished and this week, we can see it’s only a matter of time before it’s all over.

To say we’re not quite ready is a little unfair but there’s still a lot of finishing touches we are yet to 100% decide upon. It’s hard when there’s just so many dreamy tiles to look at…

Yet with the bathroom wall down, the trench filled in and the foundations finally getting levelled – how many times have we said levelled in the last six weeks? – it’ll only be another month or so before we’re back in there working away.

Soon Simply Extend will be moving back into the front room to fix up the small details of our new studio. We’ll measuring up power points, getting in the carpenters to work on the shelving, fitting the bed and most importantly, the kitchen. We can’t wait to be back in a fully functioning kitchen developing and shooting recipes and a whole lot else for you all.

For now though, we’ll keep dreaming of interior design like we always do…
