Big Plans, Small Space Week Three: A Problem

In every project there’s a bump in the road and this week was ours. It’s week three of Khoollect HQ’s renovations and after all of the “we can’t believe how fast it’s going”‘s (we’re looking back and sighing at ourselves too), we finally encountered a problem which means we may need to rethink a part of the project.

Going back to the drawing board isn’t always a bad thing (right?!) At the moment this means that part of the project is on hold as we get the expert advice we need and the big plans we’d hoped for might have to change slightly. It all sounds very mysterious for no other reason that we don’t quite know what’s going to happen next. khoollect hq renovations

For now though, the bathroom is nearly out – it’s kind of strange to see our old toilet from below the foundations – the last fireplace is gone and later on in the week there will be some steel support beams coming in to make sure everything is structurally sound while the walls are being extended.

So for now, we leave you slightly up in the air; it wouldn’t be a renovation without a minor set-back, would it? At least that’s what we keep telling ourselves. Keep your fingers crossed for us and we should have some better news next week!
