Big Plans Small Space Week 5: Rachel Khoo’s Renovation Round Up

If you’ve been following along with my journey you’ll know that I love a new challenge. I’ve lived in so many different places and so many different spaces over the last ten years that it’s hard to remember a time when I didn’t have some kind of scheme going on.

However, there’s nothing I like more than a design venture, so you’ll know that this Khoollect HQ renovations project is a big deal for me.

I’ve talked before about how much I’ve been waiting to have a creative space of my own in London. Somewhere I can film and my team can let their creative energies run wild but it never really felt real until I saw the holes in the walls. Living in Sweden now I don’t get to see it as much as the rest of the team, which is why I’m doing my round up today.

We’ve had our bump in the road but now I can say that with such a fantastic project team surrounding me and Simply Extend at the helm, I can finally see my dreams taking place…With this moving along rapidly, I have a lot more time to check out the interior furnishings before all of my other projects start, which is the fun part anyway.

Convenience, light and space are the three top concerns and as such, the team and I have been hunting down the best products, people and brands to work alongside to make sure these three are made the most of in the space we have.

We’re in a world of tile inspiration – I’ll do a round up of my absolute favourites this week – all-in-one bed and storage hunting (make sure to watch our Insta-stories) and now it’s time for cupboards to be measured, bathrooms to be sourced and the other finishing touches to be planned. There’s nothing I like more than to be prepared…
