Letter from the Editor-in-Chief: Hello December

Hello Khoollectors,

I can hardly believe it’s December this week. I have to admit, I really love this time of year. Despite the chill in the air, it’s the twinkling fairy lights, the spirit of giving and the creative activities that bring me a lot of joy during this month. I’ll soon be getting the fire crackling and, most importantly, throwing myself into my favourite festive season activity: the cooking.

Whether I’m making foodie gifts for my family, hosting a brunch, decorating for a party, baking a Christmas cake, or just catching up over a coffee with friends, I really love the sharing of food that happens in December.

This month, the Khoollect team and I will be celebrating the season with creative ideas for wrapping gifts, suggestions for silly season skincare, throwing a Khoollect Christmas party and cooking up a storm.

But, more than that, we’ll be looking at how we can nurture a more mindful festive season; and how we can explore the experiential side of this time of coming together. Keep your eyes peeled throughout the month for tips on having a more mindful Christmas, board games you can play with your family, thoughtful homemade gift ideas and so much more.

It’s been an incredible, busy and inspiring year at Khoollect. The team and I have had an amazing time meeting interesting people, visiting cool places and sharing our stories with you. We’ve had a great time getting to know more of you, the Khoollect community, and can’t wait to show you what we have planned for the year ahead.

So, from the team and I, here’s wishing you a wonderful celebratory season and a fabulous (and delicious) end to 2016.
