Our community is full of incredibly talented people, but when we came across Aimee Twigger, something inside us leapt.

Her work combines everything we love in one online space – food, recipes and the most beautifully moody, atmospheric photography.

We couldn’t wait for you guys to see her too (of course, if you haven’t already) so here she is in all her glory.

Where in the world do you live? In Torquay south Devon

What do you do? At the moment I am just getting by teaching food styling workshops which I love, I am a food blogger/photographer, if I had to give it a name. I just love to cook and bake I’m happiest in the kitchen or photographing what I have made.

One place you’d tell people to visit in your city/town? Cockington it is a beautiful part of Torquay surrounded by fields, great for walking and there are lots of old thatched houses dotted around it’s such a lovely place there is an old country pub that is so picturesque.

What do you khoollect? Cookbooks I have a huge collection of book and my amazon list is always full of new ones I want to buy

What’s your favourite recipe? I have a soft spot for ragu, any kind whether it’s beef, lamb or rabbit. I used one of Jamie Oliver’s recipes originally and I have adjusted it over time.

What’s your favourite book? I’m a huge fan of chick lit authors like Sophie Kinsella or Marian Keys. I like them because they are easy to read and light hearted.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

“If you want to know what a man’s like, take a good look at how he treats his inferiors, not his equals.” Sirius Black
