Thank you for these tips re: Exploring Paris with a toddler in tow. More tips to make toddler an “active participant” on a trip vs just someone who tags along:
1) Read a book about the city you’ll visit. Make a home-made map for toddler with sites marked. Toddler gets to put a sticker the site in map after visit. When you get to hotel room, or in plane, have toddler draw what s/he saw during the trip or his/her fave part of the trip.
2) Have toddler learn the language and use it while interacting with locals. (We have plans to visit France & Canada in a few month and our 3 yr old is learning French so she can carry basic conversations.)
