Khoollect life: Paperfest London 2017

Last September, the Khoollect Team were asked to speak at Paperfest, an annual event for creatives, start-ups and business-minded people held at Kensington Olympia in London. We shared our knowledge about building a successful digital magazine and spoke about the trials, tribulations and fun that we’ve had along the way.

This year, Khoollect’s Hannah Adams was asked to switch roles and take a seat in the interviewer’s chair. The Design Trust, The GCA UK and Luxury Wedding Planner Kim Balasubramaniam shared their ‘10 things to know before starting a creative business’ with Hannah; and, judging by the audience full of diligent note-takers, the interview was a hit.

Their tips included how to refine the product you’re offering, the value of mentorship, how to stay motivated, what to do to stay on track with time and the importance of self-care in the creative industry.

After a day of inspiration and creativity, we feel motivated to become Girl Bosses and share our best work with the Khoollect community in 2017.
