Cheesecake is one of those classic dinner party staples – creamy, delicious and can be decorated with all manner of toppings to create a beautiful centrepiece. When running short of time, this cheat’s version gives you all the flavour, with minimal effort.
Tips
- Thin biscuits tend to go soggy quickly, so prepare these cheesecake bites just before serving.
- Use different flavoured biscuits to vary your end result – a coconut or ginger biscuit makes for a nice change. Or keep your biscuits plain and vary the type of fruit curd you use – lime, raspberry, passionfruit, orange, or even grapefruit makes a nice alternative.
- Change the shape of piping nozzle you use and get creative with the decorating process.
- If you don’t want to buy piping bags, you can make your own with basic items from your kitchen.
