Having two vegetarians in the office, we’re always on the hunt for the finest veggie joints in the places we visit. Today we’ll be honing in on the UK’s capital to bring you a Khoollection of our meat-free faves.

With a blossoming burger scene, London has a whole host of restaurants to satisfy your meaty cravings. But, what about all our fellow vegetarians out there?… Well, today we’ll be sharing with you our rundown of the city’s finest veggie friendly burger joints for you to try, with our favourite from the forum thrown in for good measure. Here they are:

The Diner, 105 Gloucester Road, London SW7 4SS

With an American style menu, The Diner serves from an extensive list of all things American; chips, wings, pancakes and of course, burgers. The Veggie Stack burger is a particular favourite of ours. With chickpea patties, roasted peppers, coriander & mint on a smooth bun you can’t really go wrong.

Mildreds, 45 Lexington street, London W1F 9AN

Coming up to its 20th year, Mildreds have been serving up the finest in vegetarian food for tourists and locals alike. The veggie burgers are all delicious but our favourite would have to be the Polish. Beetroot, white bean and dill in a focaccia bun?… yes, please!

The Advisory, 161 Mare St, London E8 3RH

Moments east of London Fields sits The Advisory, an alternative art space that doubles as a restaurant serving breakfast, bagels and burgers. If you get hungry in the area, pop in and try their Veggie Burger with sweet potato patty, avocado and grilled halloumi.

Arancini Brothers, 115 Kentish Town Road, London NW1 8BP

From humble beginnings on Sunday markets to the heart of the high street, Arancini Brothers have grown to become the go-to guys for their risotto balls speciality. But we’re talking burgers today and luckily for us, theirs don’t disappoint. The Bluey Dolcelatte Onion Jam Burger packs their signature risotto veg patty, dolcelatte blue cheese, onion jam, mix leaf, fresh tomato and mayo into a scrumptious organic brioche bun. Mmm!

Big V, The Jubilee Market 8 Southwark St, London SE1 1TL

For a lighter, bunless option, you can find Big V and their range of vegan burgers at south London’s Borough Market. Our pick is the Spicy Chickpea Skinny Burger, made from sweet potato & chickpeas, and topped off with a tasty tahini dressing.

Boom Burger, 272 Portobello Road, London, W10 5TY

Explosive spice combinations meet traditional high-quality British red-meat in this quirky little West London burger bar. But we’re here for the veggie option please, which happens to be delicious. Roasted sweet potato with chilli jam, fresh avocado salsa and rocket, I’ll take two.

The Pearson Room, 16-19 Canada Square, London, E14 5ER

Last but by no means least we have The Pearson Room. Suggested by reader Bhavesh Patel through the forum, we’re yet to visit but he has promised us that the veggie burger is great. We’re gonna take his word for it and give it a go.

If you think we missed anywhere, please let us know in the comments. We’d love to hear your suggestions!
