It has to be the kitchen! It’s the heart of the home and the one where we spend the most time together
The kitchen as that’s where all the great stuff happens
Definitely the kitchen – it’s where I get to be creative and indulge my hobby: cooking.
The kitchen, it brings people together. Whether over dinner or cup of tea, it’s the most homely room of the house.
It would have to be my dining room. I think it’s so important to sit down at the table for a family meal or to entertain friends with dinner. Also I recently refurbished an old family table and I love it!
A heartwarming kitchen where family
friends and pets gather to chat, laugh, cook and hang out on a daily basis keeping the wheels of family life spinning.
The dining room as we recently put up some shelves to display our pretty mugs, dishes and jars
My kitchen is the heart of my house, the place where I am happy
It would have to be our living room – as we get stuck into the colder months it is so wonderfully cozy to snuggle up on the couch. The perfect spot for a cuppa!
It definitely has to be my study! I designed the look myself and has everything I love in one room – antique teacups, my favourite books, comfy chair, scented candles and a beautiful desk. It’s a great place to go to and chill and perfect to wind down after a hard day’s work or somewhere to hide at the weekend!
my living room looks out on the garden, it’s definitely the most relaxed room in my house, and my favourite
my lounge, its cosy woth lots of candles cushions blankets and a real fireplace, love sitting to read int here 🙂
My Kitchen. In every house I have lived so far, the kitchen has always been my haven.
The kitchen is where the food is! And also a little radio so I can boogie around the kitchen while cooking.
My bedroom. It’s my quiet place and everyone needs one of those!
Definitely the kitchen. It’s the first proper room as you come into the house from either the front or the back and it’s the centre of everything that goes on here. It’s spacious and warm and often smells delicious!
My bedroom as its a bit of a man cave for me 🙂
My bedroom, I can just curl up and put a stressful day behind me and get engrossed in a book
It’s got to be the kitchen/diner. We spend a lot of time there, be it cooking up a stort or finishing a bottle of wine after dinner. It certainly is the heart of our home.
Has to be the lounge. Long cold nights with the fire on and a nice hot soup, dog on your lap and the tele on feet up. Absolute bliss.
The kitchen is without a shadow of a doubt my favourite room of any house. It’s the room that everyone gravitates towards (or maybe it’s the fridge that we’re all heading for…). It’s also the room that conjures the most happy memories for me, as it’s where I used to perch after school to watch my mum cook – she taught me a lot just by doing and chatting. I live in a rented house at the moment so it’s the little things that make it personal for us, but I work in a lot of beautiful kitchens which means that I’m always scheming and dreaming about what I’ll do when I eventually own my own!
I have an open plan kitchen, lounge, diner… it’s where we spend all our time as a family.
kitchen for sure where it all happens
The kids playroom-the messiest, most chaotic and by far the happiest place I know
the lounge, with all the modern tech
As a ‘feeder’ the kitchen is where I get to experiment… there’s is nothing quite like creating something lavish and scrumptious and enjoying it with family & friends.
The kitchen, the dinner table, life lived, homework done, hungry fed and laughs laughed.
My under stairs cupboard, as its where I leave my wine to brew.
My bedroom is my favourite room. I have just finished redecorating in a shabby chic style with shelves I made and hung myself. It is very calming and find myself going up to bed early each night!
I’d say the living room as it’s where I can relax and unwind after a long day of work. It’s got an eclectic mix of things that make me happy… cosy, practical at times or just plainly ornamental because it looks pretty.
Has to be my bathroom. I spent ages planning it all out so it is just how I want it. The next project will be he kitchen.
I love our living room, it is the main centre of the house and the area where the family spend most of our time. It is also my favourite place to relax
The kitchen; I can see my back garden from here.
I love our living room as it is the room I had a definitive idea how I wanted it to look and I think we’ve achieved it. Also it has all my books on show in lovely shelves made by my Hubbie, until we’d done this they’d been in boxes for years moving between parents/shared houses/ small rented place until we got our own place! So the living room represents the achievement of buying and renovating our own home! Whoop
It has to be the conservatory – Plenty of light and a great view over the hills.
Our bedroom feels like to most relaxing and most comfortable room to be in
My office because it is vibrant orangy colours with a lovely sunset photo that I took filling one wall
My favourite space is my guest bedroom. I love to host and I have decorated with special touches to make my family and friends feel cozy and comfortable so they’re in their home from home. From essential toiletries they may have forgotten, to books, blankets and artwork. No extra stuff stored in here, pampering my guests is important!

It’s got to be our Kitchen as it’s the hive of activity.
My bathroom, a place of tranquility, time for reflection and somewhere I can transform myself from nay to yay!
The dining room! Its where the whole family come together – to eat, play games and just spend quality time together. There is nothing quite like having all your favourite people round one table!
Probably the kitchen, it’s where I eat with my family and where I always come to first when I come home
Our kitchen because it’s the heart of our home.
For me I’ve got a conjoined dining table and kitchen, so that would be the best. I enjoy having friends round so they can get involved in the cooking, so that would be my favourite room!
Without doubt it’s the kitchen. It’s a lovely family space where we spend a lot of time, cooking, chatting, socialising, watching TV and entertaining. I’ve even been known to sleep in the kitchen…after one too many glasses of wine!
The living room because it’s so cosy and where we spend all our family time
The bedroom, its always cosy and has all my favourite clothes and bath products in it.
The Kitchen, Its’ My Calorie input Station!

The Hallway is my favourite room as it is the transitional space from the outer world into my inner sanctuary
My living room/dinner! It’s so cosy, we have a huge reclaimed wood table and eventually we want to knock our kitchen through to make lovely L shape where we can relax and cook and host family!
My favourite room is the living room! Perfect place to put my feet up with a coffee and watch the little ones play! Definitely the family room.
My favourite room of the house is the kitchen. Not just any kitchen though, it would be our kitchen back at ‘homehome’ as I call it (where I grew up). When I think of home, I think of getting cosy next to the aga, with a cuppa (oo or maybe a Bailey’s for treat!), catching up with my parents and playing a game of cards. Small moments like these bring great memories and warmth. I smile as I write this!
The kitchen – I love cooking for Christmas!

I live in a studio, so my favourite room is my house! It’s so easy to fill with the smell of freshly baked cookies and I wouldn’t change it for the world (for now!)
The kitchen is my favourite room because it’s where I like to be and where all the magic happens. I also like the bedroom that I’ve just finished decorating because it looks new and beautiful!
Here at home, it’s the kitchen, fresh bread in the oven, everyone together, chatting , having the craic, real family time.

For me it has be the bedroom, it’s where I come home after a hard day at work and cuddle down in my pajama with a book or pencils and draw and feel how the stress just falls off my shoulders. The rest of house can be a little mess here and there from time to time, but my bedroom is always organized!
The pantry; is it the secret gem of the house. The place where when the house is full of people, you can escape to and smell or taste that brandy you’ve been hiding away, or nibble on your hidden stash of mince pies.
My bedroom, my place to relax and rest after a long day.
my living room because of my sofa!
It’s got to be our kitchen it is warm cosy and the kettle is always on !

The back of my house – our kitchen (obviously) and our family table for eating, toddler drawing and drinking with friends. All made a joy to do by our Velux windows flooding the room with light.

The green bathroom! All in it is green.
Bedroom, i love sleeping!
The front room. This time of year, with the christmas tree up. All nice and cosy
My brand new kitchen all ready and waiting for a family Christmas
It has to be my bedroom – where I can snuggle under the covers and read my book on a cold winters evening.
The smallest room – the toilet. Where else can I read a paper, shave my knees or simply enjoy a sandwich whilst seated in blissful peace and quiet?
My bathroom is my sanctuary. A place where I can soak away the days cares, try neew hairstykes and brightly coloured makeup, drink a cup of coffee in peace and when necessary, lock the door and read a sneaky chapter of my book.
My favourite room is definitely the kitchen! I’ve always loved cooking and baking, and it’s the place where friends and family usually come together.
My bedroom. My bed is right next to my window so I love wrapping my self up on a cold winters night, with the dog at the end to warm up my feet and to get all cosy, just watching the winter sun rise & set. So peaceful and calming.
The All-purpose room, when my younger son moved out, we converted his bedroom, we fitted a pull/fold down bed, a desk for the Desktop and printer, a TV on the wall, my exercise bike and cross trainer.. it just about all fits, if my son comes home the bike and X-trainer wheel into the garage… its brilliant.
My favourite room at the moment is our dining room – it was the last room in our house to get sorted out and since finally having a proper floor down and being decorated it is so cosy. If someone’s cooking in the kitchen, the other person can sit at our (not quite yet finished) bar looking into the kitchen and we can chat 🙂
I would improve the bedroom,my favorite place and the cats! as its the place we get to recharge and wake up full of energy and anticipation for a fun day ahead!
I know it’s a bit of an obvious one but my favourite room in our home is definitely the kitchen. As well as all the usual reasons for bringing people together over food (and the odd glass of wine), the kitchen was where my daughter was born-all of 4 months ago. We moved in when I was 7 months pregnant and I spent a lot of time dancing, cooking and pacing around the floor (suffice to say there’s still unpacking to be done)! Even now, in the middle of the night, we can often calm her by taking her to the kitchen and gently rocking her in front of the window. This kitchen, where she started, will grow as she grows. xx
Mine has to be the living room so cosy and warm perfect to cuddle up and keep warm and all the family celebrate Christmas there xx
My kitchen is tiny, but we have a breakfast bar where we sit as a family just eating and chatting about our day. My husband and kids are always on the receiving end of my new creations from the kitchen and we discuss what we liked and what we didn’t like….always room for tweaking a recipe.
The living room, where everyone sits together and usually ends up crying with laughter over one thing or another.
My bedroom. Close the curtains, put some music on, cuddle up to the dog and read a blockbuster. Heaven.
The bedroom where I get a peaceful night sleep
Definitely the living room where I can relax after a long day at work!
The bedroom,of course, that’s where the magic happens 😉

Definitely the kitchen, it’s where I spend the most time (when not sleeping), could easily spend hours there pottering away and cooking. It’s also the centre of the house so I feel like everyone convenes there, like the IKEA ad ha…you’ll always find me in the kitchen at parties…:P

It has to be my bedroom. When we moved into the house the largest bedroom had been used for a child and was an awkward long shape. We lived with it for a while so we could decide how to make best use of the space. We ended up moving the en suite into the room and making a huge space with a double shower and double sink unit. The rest of the bedroom still has lots of space and loads of wardrobes, just as I designed them with a space for everything. I wanted it to look like a hotel suite and that was the first thing my friend said it looked like when she saw it. It’s just how I imagined it would look.

I would ordinarily say the living room because that is the heart of any Home and you don’t have to be a cook to enjoy it! It’s where you spend the bulk of your family time together and family time is the most important thing.

All through my childhood the kitchen has been the heart of our home and that has carried on to my own house…we’re always in it whether we’re cooking, eating, ironing, playing a game or just having a cuppa and a chat. My kitchen also opens into the (small) garden where I keep all my herbs which is convenient. We also use the kitchen door and side gate as our main entrance so its the first room you walk into when you enter the house, it just has a very country feel to it despite the house being relatively new.
The dining room as its where we all sit for meals & share our day.
the living room. its the heart of the home x

It’s crisp and clean, but at the same time warm and cosy.
