Pancakes! Any kind of pancake can make my world a better place – nothing beats a lemon curd filler but bacon works just as well 🙂 I love pancake Sunday!!
One pot stews are always great on a Sunday, especially now the winter is drawing in. I’m particularly in love with making caponata, a great aubergine dish from Italy
My favourite lazy Sunday meal is a super easy roast chicken, cooked on top of some lovely vegetables and a few herbs – warm and comforting, and not much washing up!

My favourite lazy Sunday meal is a giant Yorkshire pudding with beef and mixed vegetables in the middle.
A lazy Sunday with a generous bowl of sweet potato chili, with cheese and hot sauce sprinkled on top. Yum!
I love homemade soup – any really but veggie with sweet potato and parsnips are great, then I roast veggies and have them in it… (easier and lazier if the soup is pre made and just needs defrosting!).
Breakfast for dinner – so a fry-up; eggs, bacon, sausages, black pudding, toast, beans, grilled tomatoes.

Braised short ribs with creamy polenta. I love meals that simmer for hours and entice you with their intoxicating smell. Especially when it is made with a delicious, rich red meat, robust red wine and rosemary.
Hot, well seasoned, crispy tuna piadina!
Roast beef, White beans and carrots with rich gravy. Divine!
Roasted root vegetables with a drizzle of walnut oil, maple syrup and a few sprigs of rosemary. Then add some crumbled feta and toasted walnuts; so yummy!

Chicken and mushroom stroganoff in the slow cooker! So easy and so good!

A Sunday appetizer in a sunny terrace is always a good idea, and after that, a great mediterranean tomato salad, with some feta cheese, black olives and extra virgin olive oil from my catalan region! Easy, fast and super healthy!! 🙂

We always have brunch which is a full English breakfast with fried bread. Naughty but nice.

It has to be slow roasted lamb shoulder with delicious Moroccan spices. Such comfort food and perfect for Autumn!

Bubble and squeak (using leftovers from the day before’s veg) and sausages. Yum!

Our favourite Sunday meal is a big family roast, with all the trimmings. Gluten free Yorkshire Puddings are a definite must! It brings our family together, no gadgets, phones etc are allowed at the table. Just family conversation. My favourite time of the week.

Mine would be a Colmans Season and Shake: Cajun Chicken, put all ingredients in a bag and cook!

It has to be roast lamb, with rosemary and tons of garlic – gorgeous!
Bœuf bourguignon with buttery mash potato and green beens. Whack it in the slow cooker or oven in the morning let the house fill with delicious cooking smells over the course of the day. Washed down with a good red wine.
