I love to cook for lots of people, my go to recipe is from The Little Paris Kitchen – boeuf bourguignon with baguette dumplings. You can prepare ahead of time, so you spend more time with your guests & less time in the kitchen.
My go to meal for friends coming round is a Moroccan chicken tagine, followed by lemon drizzle cake.

I love cooking for others. Mostly preparing the last meal – desssert, because my guests leaving with this finishing point – dessert. And I prepare mostly cheesecakes in many variants or chocolate mousse from Rachel. Yummy!
I would love a copy of this book by Flora after seeing her on Bake Off! My go-to dinner party dish is usually a tagine followed by cheesecake!
I usually like to make a slow cooker meal like lamb shanks so as to be able to enjoy my guests’ visit or at the least a mostly make ahead meal.
Roasted lamb and Persian breads and dips.
I wold really love this book I am a big fan of having dinner parties, my go to dishes are beef wellington followed by raspberry and chocolate tart 🙂
I have many different meals that I like to make and share. ….my homemade chicken soup, or beef soup with cheddar and chive biscuits. Or corn chowder is another. I seem to be focusing on winter, heart warming meals here. …lol
My desserts or sweets recipes are always different and very diverse.
1 delicious and super easy is chocolate wafers (Christie brand in CANADA ), AND Dream whip, or any whipped topping ). Stack in layers of wafers, then cream, and repeat into stacks. Chill for hours. So simple and easy.
Always themed, normally seasonal. Sushi is often a winner – can make in advance, lots of types to please everyone’s taste, not too flashy but still impressed and easy to nibble away at …maybe 2017 i’ll try Frushi (fruit sushi) as pudding.
One of my favourite dishes ever.. Braised Lamb Necks with Pesto Mash, Seasonal Greens & Green Peppercorn Gravy.
My go to meal is lasagne & banoffee pie. (Obviously not together)
My go to meal for a large crowd is chicken biryani. It’s hearty and fragrant.
Chicken, chorizo and chickpea stew – big, bold flavours but always a crowdpleaser. Followed by a chocolate torte – spoil your guests!

I usually rely on some kind of pasta- easy to make in a big batch and pretty easy to do both vegetarian and meat-eater versions of the same dish.
Roast lamb and every veg I can think of . Delicious and easy all in the oven a couple of hours before dinner followed by a pav with fresh fruit and cream
Gatherings are always great when they’re potluck/family style. Love making falafel fixings so people can build their own with pickled onion, tabbouleh, cucumber sauce, hummus, and fresh veg. 🙂
I love hosting dinner parties. My favorite is my mothers recipe for chicken enchiladas. The recipe is regional to the state of Guanajuato, Mexico where my mother grew up 🙂
My favourite meal to make for others has to be baked gnocchi with lots of freshly made bread drizzled in garlic oil. It’s chic to reek after all!
My ideal go-to meal is steamboat. Friends and family gather round at the table, having drinks and putting the meats, seafood, vegetables and noodles a few at a time in the hotpot. In this way, we can all have a good chat and good laugh while waiting the food to be cooked.
I would prepare fruit salad or mango pudding as dessert to cool us down.
It’s not fancy but it goes a long way and its a real treat _ macaroni cheese. I add several cheeses and mozzarella on top for a crispy crustasana whatever Matt I have around if I fancy it.
My go-to-meal for gatherings is baked macaroni and cheese (topped with panko for that perfect crust), fresh hash browns, and home made coconut milk ice cream. Delicious!
My go to dish is lasagne, followed by a cinnamon apple crumble with custard!
A herb marinated roast leg of lamb with roasted vegetables and jewelled couscous, followed by pannacotta with raspberries
I love cooking for my friends and family! A good stew is always easy to feed a crowd. There is a lovely Rick Stein recipe for pork, white bean and garlic stew that I have made many times. One of my favourite puddings to make for a crowd is panna cotta with roasted rhubarb and almond biscuits. Yum!
Cooking for friends is great fun. I recently discovered a taco salad recipe which I’ve served with nachos, salsa, spicy chicken and tortilla wraps. It tastes great and it is perfect for group meals and gatherings.
Vegetable stew and dumplings…easy to prepare, can cook masses of it and very inexpensive!
I love to make Bajan macaroni pie with a tomato & melon salad on the side, followed by strawberry & vanilla tart for dessert. All washed down with a nice ice tea. Perfect for one, two or many to tuck in to!
My go to meal is slow cooked pheasant with orange and cointreau followed by a fresh fruit pavlova.
I find it’s really difficult to go wrong with a well-made macaroni and cheese.
(Of course, a poorly-made one go very wrong indeed…)
( *can* go very wrong indeed… Much like comments when your brain moves faster than your fingers.)
tacos, though simple, always end up a fun food for an evening with friends. We supply both chicken and beef filling and basic taco building ingredients. Our friends bring interesting additions to the feast.
I make a really nice pork and apple pie that people really, really love. It’s in a hot water crust pastry and has bacon, pork mince and juicy bits of apple and spices so it tastes like a giant, pastry-encased pork and apple sausage.
Moroccan leg of lamb that has been marinating overnight with a roast vegetable couscous.
