My favourite thing about Paris is the food!
One of my favourites is the Musee de l’Orangerie where Monet’s famous waterlillies artworks are housed in the beautiful Jardins Tuileries.
My favourite thing about Paris is the architecture! The buildings have such variety of design, from modern museums like the L’Ouvre, to the street-flats with classic twirls and curls. I have always wanted to live in one of those flats…
My favourite thing about Paris is the cafe culture -I love sitting at a Parisian cafe with good food and wine alongside good conversation watching the world go by. 🙂
Paris lived up to all the things people had told me about. It’s hard to choose a favourite, but I bought a great vintage coat from a little shop in the Marais.
I’ll be visiting Paris for the first time in 5 weeks from today! Can’t wait and I suspect my favourite things will be the food and the beautiful Eiffel Tower!
My favourite thing is the vibe you feel when you’re amongst some of the most amazing architectural buildings in the world, which is unmistakenly Paris.
I haven’t been fortunate to visit it yet as I am saving it for a special birthday or occasion. I am inspired by the art and architecture that I see on the travel sites and Instagram as well as all the fresh bread and pastries. The language is beautiful too!
My favourite thing about Paris is the view from the sacre coeur. It’s built fit for a king overlooking his kingdom. With Saint Joan of arc proudly protecting its beautiful architecture. I like picking out landmarks on the skyline as if they’re on a map. Then when the sun’s low heading round the corner to the neighbouring square and sipping an aperitif, watching the caricaturists before deciding where to go for dinner.
My favourite thing about Paris? It changes every time I think about it! One day it’s the food and wine, next it’s the attitude and style, and next again it’s colours, lights and shapes. But for right this moment, I’ll settle on Maille mustard shopping! Can’t go wrong with mustard, right? Dijon Originale Mustard with white wine!
My favorite thing about Paris is the way that everything is so beautiful, you don’t even need a plan for where to go – you can just wander and you’re sure to come across amazing architecture and charm.
The romance of the city. Just walking round the jardin du luxembourg , seeing the eiffel tower glitter, having coffee by the side of the St Martin or eating on Rue Cler the romance is everywhere!
My favourite thing about Paris is the never ending charm that is embeded everywhere, and can be fully appreciated during long walks!!
My favourites are the hidden nooks and crannies and being drawn to a hidden little gem just by its smell!
Paris is my food heaven!
There’s so many things to love about Paris! But one of my favourite things would be getting lost in the bookshop Shakespeare & Co for hours and then walking along the banks of the Seine.
Salut! My favourite thing about Paris is the magical array of hidden gems the city offers – unassuming cafés, pretty courtyards, shabby-looking restaurants serving delicious food, quirky shops and arcades, cobbled streets, and treasures like the Arènes de Lutèce or Parc Monceau. Makes a gal feel like it’s all there especially for her. Gros bisous!
My favourite thing about Paris is the Seine. Waling along the river gives you a true idea of what Paris is from the architectural beauty of its buildings, bridges and monuments, but also the Parisian spirit of people hanging out on the banks on summer evenings. <3
Seeing my friends, the food and the breathtaking architecture. What’s not to loooooove?!
I have never been! But I would love to go and in the meantime live vicariously through those who do go!
my favorite thing is the interesting collection of neighborhoods
It’s got to be a toss-up between visiting Oscar Wilde and Jim Morrison’s resting places at Père Lachaise Cemetery on a rainy day with a big umbrella or putting together a boozy Parisian picnic and sitting on the steps near the Sacre Coeur looking at the rest of Paris 🙂
My favourite thing about Paris is slowly devouring an entire plateau de fruit de mer by the restaurant terrace as I watch the city go by.
The People and the food !!!
A leisurely cafe au lait and the cheese!!
The markets. The freshness, quality, and abundance of produce, fish, meats is amazing.
There are so many wonderful things to do in Paris, but in the end nothing beats a pavement cafe table, a freshly made espresso and watching the world go by.
The cuisine, The people. The sights and sounds of Paris.
The cuisine, The sights and sounds of wonderful Paris and of the warmth of the french people
The markets! The markets! Food and flea markets.
My favourite thing about Paris are the Patisseries such as Bogato, Broken Biscuits. To sit at a table outside with a coffee and an indulgent creation watching the world go by
I love watching Paris change – lots of new, hip places to eat run by the new wave of young foodies, side by side with the amazing classic restarants that have always been there and which Paris is famous for. A real treat for the gourmande inside all of us!
My favourite thing about Paris has to be the locals! Whether it’s the chic Parisians going about their daily business, or the charming bakery owners serving up the best croissants you’ve ever had, there’s something about the feeling of being surrounded by residents of one of the most beautiful and vibrant cities in the world!
Paris Mon Amour! My favourite thing about Paris is once you have been you can never forget it! I lived in Paris in 1998 when I was a student and I fell in love with the place. I moved back to the UK to be with my partner but I will never forget the effect that Paris had on my life. I haven’t managed to go back many times since as I now have a young family so its too expensive, so this would be the perfect book for me to do a bit of armchair travelling!
My favourite thing about Paris is; it is where my husband proposed to me, and where we returned for our honeymoon!
We have been married thirty years!!
My favorite thing about Paris is getting to go to Paris next year with my Daughter mother daughter trip, for my 50th Birthday and her 21st Birthday and hoping to see everything that everyone mentions….
My favourite thing about Paris, is that my husband proposed to me there, and then we returned for our honeymoon-over thirty years ago!
The presence of mind in the city. Its got amazing character.
My favorite thing about Paris was walking around narrow, ancient streets, late at night with my husband. At night, it felt like I was walking in the footsteps of history, even more than during the day. We were there nine years ago next week and I don’t think a day has gone by that I don’t think about our time there.
Steak frites 🙂
My favourite thing about Paris is walking around and finding the tiny cobbled lanes, new secret little places with amazing houses and apartments lining them and the history of it all
Oh there are just too many things I love about Paris. The food, Eiffel Tower, fashion. But my favourite of all has to be the architecture! Oh how I dream to live in the beautiful Paris apartments and walk out onto a balcony with the view of the city.
I love the architecture of Paris.
