Hello!
I would choose c)irresistible dessert to make for family and friends. This is because it is an easy recipe to follow, especially at this time in the year! 🙂
I like the sound of adding mustard to the mix, I think it will give a spicy undertone to the bark.
I feel that chocolate bark is easy to customise so I can make it for lots of differing needs and tastes!
Delicious 🙂
I pick (c) because chocolate wins every time!!
I would pick (C)
Chocolate is rich endulgent with jewells of dried fruit showing through. Who would not be over the moon and feel extremely special when you presented a gift like this!
I would chose a) as at this time of year with all the rushing around, rich food and possibility of hangovers, something simple, cleansing and nourishing is always welcome.
I would make c) for the man in my life, who I adore!
Choice C. Chocolate Bark – mustard flavoured chocolate; that’s serious chocolate with a difference! That will sure supprise any guests…
I would also pick C – firstly because I’m not keen on star anise or horseradish (I don’t fully hate either, I’m just not keen!) and the sound of honey dijon mustard sounds amazing and has already made its way onto my shopping list!!!
I would say though, other than the star anise the soup sounds AMAZING, the snack – a little simple for my foodie family! 🙂
I would choose the chocolate bark for my beautiful wife who is also my carer. The ability to create something wonderful from equally wonderful ingredients. The addition of the honey Dijon gives a contrasting sweetness to the bitterness of the dark chocolate>The heat of the mustard is reminiscent of the Mayans adding heat to their chocolate with chili. The black salt adds a flavour boost with a hint of smokiness. Finally my wifes’ favourite chocolate bar is fruit and nut, so all round this recipe is a winter winner!!
C) every time. I love the idea of using mustard to add extra depth!
I would choose a). Together with the holidays and wintry weather, this treat will warm the body and heart!
I would definitely choose A! Soup in winter is my idea of perfection and this recipe sounds hot and full of flavour. Perfect to get over a cold or on a rainy day 🙂
