My favourite Parisian cuisine has to be rotisserie chicken with herby garlicky potatoes which have been roasted below the delicious chicken and covered in all the yummy chicken juices. Bought straight from the market and eaten on the way home with a fresh baguette.
My Favorite has to be French onion soup, I love making it for friends and family, it really reminds me of my first visit to Paris and eating it in Montmartre artist square.
Anything with a sauce and some fresh French bread to dip into the sauce

I really love that Bistro classic ‘Poulet aux champignons avec une sauce au vin blanc’ from The Little Paris Kitchen. I keep coming back to it time and again. Perfect followed by Rachel’s Clafoutis!
Eggs en Cocotte – simple but oh so delicious and the most perfect breakfast!

My favourite is Coq Au Vin, made with a good red wine served with salad and French bread. Heaven on a plate!
Croque en Bouche…made by a French friend for a leaving celebration. Put my sad shop bought donation to shame. Delicious covered in sugar sprinkles…perhaps all French women genetically inherit patisserie skills at birth!

My favourite Parisian food has to be ratatouille. I first tasted this delight in 1981, as a food-naive English nanny, staying with my charge’s French family. I could not believe the colours and rich aroma and the simple way it was made. The taste was like nothing I’d ever tasted and started a love of French food.
A croque madame – because most things are improved by an egg on top!
The sticky buns from Frenchie To Go, or the Korean fried chicken from Hero (not Parisian I know, but eaten in Paris for my 30th Birthday so has a special place in my heart!). If I’m at home my favourite Parisian dish is croissant pain perdu with cherry compote and creme fraiche.

My favourite thing to eat in Paris is an escargot – not the snail, but the PASTRY! The chocolate pistachio one from Le Pain et Les Idees is phenomenal and a must visit in Paris for everyone who loves bread and pastries xx

I love a nice croque-monsieur which is basically a grilled ham and cheese sandwich toastie in a béchamel sauce. They sometimes come with a fried egg on the top.

Sole Meuniere, simple and delicious.
I love dishes such as Coq au Vin and Boeuf Bourguignonne. Very French but possibly not Parisienne.
