Hi, am always excited to see and read from the emails we receive, and follow on social media. However, I’m disappointed that the competitions are for UK residents only. Especially as you, I’m sure, have subscriptions from people around the world?
I’m in Australia. Either you desire the support or you not. Maybe include others…?
Many thanks
Julia
Hi Julia,
Thanks for your comment and support. I’m sorry that the competitions are only for the UK. The publishers we work with tend to only want to send the books out nationally i.e. UK (and the majority of our readers are UK based). We are trying to line up competitions internationally but it’s not so easy unfortunately. Thanks again for your support!
My favourite recipe from Rachel that I’ve tried is the roasted butternut squash waffles.
There are so many I cook regularly, if I have to choose one recipe, my friends in France would say ‘madeleines with lemon curd and rasberries’ this is a foolproof recipe, never lets me down, they are gorgeous every time I make them, little fluffy pillows with a shell indentation, they taste and look so professional always a winner. Little Paris kitchen. I also love Bisous Chaumontais in her second book.

The Swedish “husmanskost” recipies!
Can’t wait to have a read of the new Swedish cookbook! My favourite Rachel recipe is madelines with raspberries and lemon curd, they are perfectly sized for a little afternoon treat
There are sooooo many to choose from, but I would HAVE to choose : Turkish Coffee Creams . They are so easy to make, taste delicious and look very pretty . I also enjoyed the series that accompanied this book, especially your travels to Istanbul and The Princes Islands . . . . 🙂
Favourite recipe and book would be Beef Short Ribs and Crunchy Slaw from the Notebook. It’s a labour of love. Results are rich. I enjoy the way the meat falls away and the slaw has a gentle bite/ crunch……also because when we picked up our signed copied of the Notebook on/ for Valentines that year the cook shop miss heard me and my wife’s name and Rachel address it to a Rachel……it still makes us laugh and we love it more not less because…..
I absolutely love the sticky chicken with Malaysian saad from kitchen notebook, my kids can’t get enough and their faces are always covered in sesame seeds and sticky sauce! We have to add more chilli though and we’re spicy monsters in our house!
Madelienes!
My most used recipe is for cheese gougeres but I think my favourite is Rachel’s coq au vin, super tasty and quick!
I love the cheese and potato nests!
The fish with lemon and brown butter sauce recipe is my weekly go to – quick, simple and so delicious!
I love love love the Raspberry Madeleines with fresh lemon curd. Everyone I make them for loves them and my Dad relentlessly asks me to make them whenever I visit him!
My favourite recipe is Peeping Mushroom Pasta from Kitchen Cookbook – so simple but so much fun
It’s so hard to choose because they are all so nice but I think it would have to be the Raspberry Madeleines. They are just so delicious and easy to make.
Where do I start?? I absolutely love the “poulet au citron et lavande” from the Little Paris Kitchen cookbook. I also love at lot of the recipes on rachelkhoo.com – the ginger and lemon meringue tart and the caraway and cabbage quiche are two of my all time favourite recipes. I love cooking with new herbs and spices so I’m always intrigued about what Rachel will come up with next. I can’t wait to explore the recipes in the Little Swedish Kitchen!
I love all her recipes, but especially her sticky lavendar chicken. Its a classic! One day I hope she tries Italian. I would love to see her take on my heritage. She is just great!
I love so many of Rachel Khoo’s recipes but if I have to choose I would go for the Chicken Dumpling Soup from ‘The Little Paris Kitchen’. The first taste threw me back to a trip I had with my parents in central Europe when I was twelve. I was a very picky eater as a child (not anymore!) so I distinctly remember having a similar soup in a tavern in the south of Germany and also how much I liked it. A humble dish tied to a humble childhood memory 🙂
My favourite without a doubt, is the first ever Rachel Khoo recipe I tried which is from The Little Paris Kitchen: Mac ‘n’ cheese (Gratin de macaroni au fromage)!
100% comfort food!
Honestly, my mouth is salivating just at the thought of it…
I love the sound of the cardamom bun bombe, it sounds delicious x
Previously my favourite recipe was the delish Oeufs en Cocotte from the Little Paris Kitchen, but I think this may have been overtaken by the stewed spinach eggs from the Little Swedish Kitchen. I love the tangy-ness of the pickled onion and chilli, and dill is one of my favourite herbs. It just all works so beautifully as a dish – so far I have made the twice for breakfast but will definitely be making for dinner as well!
I really like the poisson meunière from the little parisian kitchen. It makes me feel like I can make restaurant food at home, which is normally very hard with fish. It’s simple and delicious!
I am Cypriot..Well, this is so difficult… it’s summer !
Sweet ..Savory … it seems sweet wins.. simple and delicious, elegant ..from the Little Paris Kitchen ,
Mousse aux eclat de chocolat … decadence at the end of a Mediterranean evening, with a cool sweet koumandaria wine ,to awaken the taste buds, thank you very
Puy lentil salad with goat’s cheese, beetroot and a dill vinaigrette from The Little Paris Kitchen – I’ve made this loads of times, and it always goes down well. It’s simple but is a great combination of flavours
Been a fan of Rachels’ for quite a while. Never miss a program but out of all the magical food she’s made, my favourite recipe of hers’ is the chocolate molten lava cake.
A recipe we make all the time at home is the puy lentil salad with goats cheese, beetroot and dill vinaigrette. So simple and works well as lunch the next day!
The madelines with lemon curd from The Little Paris Kitchen are my favourites
I cannot wait to dive into this book! I love Rachel’s recipes and I’ve been becoming more and more interested in Scandinavian baking. My favourite recipes might be the pork and clams from little French kitchen or the roblochon cheese and potato nests from the Paris Kitchen. But I love them all! xx
Been a fan and follower of Rachel for a while and love her work but my favourite recipe has to be the chocolate lava cake.

My new favourite recipe is the semolina brulee in My Little French Kitchen. Its quick and easy and delicious for breakfast or a dessert.
It’s an oldie but definitely one of my go-to recieps, the Boeuf bourguignon with baguette dumplings from Little Paris Kitchen! It’s always a crowd pleaser and so simple! I always double up the recipe and freeze it, perfect on a winters evening after work!
It’s a tough choice but if I had to pick a favourite I think it would be Boulettes de via de avec une sauce piquante ET does pâtes d’Alsace from Little Paris KITCHEN. A wonderful mix of flavours.
I love spinach, when I’ve found the stewed spinach eggs recipes I had to try it. It is lovely!
My favourite recipe is Rachel’s ratatouille from My Little French Kitchen!

My favourite recipe is Mellon Charlotte with Crystalized flowers from The Little Paris Kitchen.

Favorite recipe are the madeleines with raspberries and lemon curd.
it has to be the cheese and tomato buttery biscuits always a hit
My favourite recipe would have to be the little lemon curd and raspberry madelines from the little paris kitchen! They are such a lovely treat to make and always well loved when made as a gift 🙂
Definitely got to be the Spring Lamb Stew-it’s the first time in our relationship I saw my fussy fiance eat something green! Since I made this for the first time we’ve graduated onto sugar snap peas, lettuce and peppers! I credit Rachel with not condemning me to a lifetime of boiled carrots as my only vegetable choice if I don’t want to use all the pans in the house! Thank you!
My favourite iš Raoasted Chicken Parcels with Kohlrabi Slaw from the Little French Kitchen!
Hi, I’d have to say my favourite recipe is the dark chocolate, cranberry & pistachio sweet treat it looks amazing and tastes cosmic!
Rachel Khoo books are a truly divine pleasure to both read and cook from. I’ve indulged in many recipes, but my favourite that always impresses is Cured Sausage, Pistachio and Prune Cake (Cake au saucisson sec avec pistaches et prunes). A wonderful afternoon treat with a wine or ginger ale.
My favourite recipe from Rachel is for Cheese Pistachio and Prune Cake.
Rosemary, Lavender and Goat Cheese bread, to die for!
There are so many delicious recipes in Rachel’s cookbooks. I enjoy a lot the classical french ones like Boeuf Bourginone. But also the codfish confit from her kitchen notebook.
Curious to see which recipes from the Swedish kitchen she chose for her new book.
Vera
My favorite recipe…it’s a tough decision but I think it has to be the Quiche Lorraine from Chez Rachel. In April I started my own catering company after years of just dreaming about. I cook with only local products to support local farmers but also to show people we have so much food just around us. My dinners are about more than food it’s the whole experience. Eating is tasting and looking. I make little drawings on a plate. The quiche is my most favorite and the favorite of many of my customers. Maybe the simplest. But it proofs to me food doesn’t have to be super fancy to taste amazing!
Mine is from the Little Paris Kitchen. The recipe is chicken livers, salad mix and figs!
My favorite recipe is the cheese soufflé from The Little Paris Kitchen cookbook!
My favourite recipe is the Ratatouille Tian from the Paris Kitchen, it’s so pretty even the kids don’t grumble at eating veg! Would love to win a copy of The Swedish Kitchen
So much to choose from… Just to be in the competition, I choose, randomly, “smoked sausage Stroganoff”!
The gooey scrumptious Chocolate Lava Cake with Salted Caramel!
My favorite recipe and all time go to dish has to be the Coq au Vin skewers. I made them for my husband (back then he was still my boyfriend) once and he loved them! Normally he’s a meat/veggie/potato kind of guy (he’s a proper Dutchman, but he loved those skewers. It’s a beautiful twist on the traditional dish and reminded of Julia Child’s Coq au Vin (I think she would have loved the skewers as well!). They’re easy to prep and easy to make, simplistic, but deliciously juicy. While I do make them more often during the colder days of the year as a comfort food option, I have made them for BBQ parties as well, and they have never disappointed! And on top of that it made me dive into French cuisine, which I had always seen as this big mountain to climb.
Chicken dumpling soup!
It’s great when I have a cold, easy to make and both hearty and light st the same time and the spoon technique to make the dumplings was super fancy.
It’s become a bit of a go to thanks to this Australian winter.
I loved the cheese soufflé recipe from The Little Paris Kitchen cookbook!
My favorite Rachel recipe is savoury Swedish buns! It was my happy and first experience I tried to bake them:)
My favourite go to recipe from The Little Paris Kitchen,is Tarte Flambée, Onion and creme fraiche tart. Easy but a decadent recipe and gorgeous with a green salad of wild rocket and sorrel. Yum Yum xx Tina
Ohhh I just love so many recipes from The Little Paris Kitchen. I think my top two are the Quiche Lorraine (can’t beat a classic) and the Raspberry Madeleines with Lemon Curd. So delicious.
Little Paris Kitchen is one of my favourite cookbooks. It is hard to pick a favourite! My favourite is probably one of the simplest ones – the trout with fennel, potatoes and creme fraiche. I’d never cooked trout this way before and I loved how flakey and juicy it was. The creme fraiche with lemon zest is amazing with it and the potatoes absorb all the amazing juices. Serving creme fraiche with trout is never something I would have thought of but it complements the fish perfectly. What I love about Rachel’s recipes is she always adds an ingredient you would never think of yourself and I think that’s why the trout one is my favourite. X
Crunchy apple and black pudding pie
My favourite recipes are madellines and gougeres. I make both of them on a regular basis. We took some madellines to London last week to give to the lovely lady in the Bloom perfume shop at covent garden. They are always a winner.
It must be chilled cucumber soup from The Kitchen Notebook
Madeleines are my favourites. But, there are a lot of other delicous recipes:-)
Hello ! I love so many recipes of Rachel but the one I’ve done most is the pizza that uses spaghetti as a base ! I just love it. It’s very easy and and a great way to use leftovers. I recommend it to everyone. Greetings from Barcelona !
Coconut and carrot cake! Yummy I love coconut and carrot cake as well but together is paradise!!
My favourite recipe is for Janssons tempation from her latest book. That’s one of my all time favourite dishes.
Oooh there are way too many to chose from but I did the salted caramel lava puddings once and it was absolutely divine
Hi,
I love the Underground Eclairs 🙂 and they are always a hit at Kaffee und Kuchen (Teatime).
But all recipes are very good and interesting and inspire me to try new things!
Bye, Christiane
Hi Rachel, being a fan of the One Pound Meals books I’m really loving the Smoked Sausage Stroganoff you did with Miguel Barclay recently, congrats on the new book!
There are so many that’s very hard to choose. But if I have to, it’s savoury cake from “The Little Paris Kitchen” because it changed my way of thinking about cakes and not-so-sweet desserts.
Oh my goodness this makes it so hard to choose just one favourite recipe from Rachel’s books, but I’ll go with one that I absolutely love to make, eat and never fails to impress me or my family and friends, ‘Lemon Lava Cakes’ from Rachel’s Kitchen Notebook. Can’t wait to read The Little Swedish Kitchen!
Boeuf bourguignon with baguette dumplings – yum yum 🙂
Oooo, you set a difficult task to pick just one recipe from your books so many. it would be obvious to pick one of the desserts as they are so many, but when you dish up a main meal it is something special. My take on good food comes from the home and family rather than fine dining., so I love those meals which are simple and tasty. So choosing for a 3 course family dinner I would do Beef Koftas with Herby Flatbreads (little French Kitchen), Cherry Glazed Lamb Shanks with Pilaf (Kitchen Notebook) and to finish the delicious Madeleines with Lemon Curd (Little paris Kitchen) this one was the first time I saw your programme.
The mini venison Wellington from The Little Paris Kitchen
The croque madame muffins are an absolute breakfast favorite in our household. A thing for long, lazy Sunday brunches.
My favorite recipe is cheese soufflé from The Little Paris kitchen cookbook
My favourite Rachel Khoo recipe has got to be her muesli cookies from her very early cookbooks Muesli and granola.

My favourite recipe is Winter salad with a goats cheese mousse, from The Little Paris Kitchen. It’s just what I need on a cold afternoon or evening. I think I’ll be making it soon with how the weather is turning!
Hi Rachel
I personally loves your first cookery book, my little french kitchen. I took great joy in cooking the dishes from that book. My favorite is boeuf bourguignon and lava cake.
my favourite recipe is an old one, simple and uncomplicated, but a regular in our home-Puy lentil with goats cheese , beetroot and dill vinaigrette from the little paris kitchen. We have just returned from a break in Copenhagen and have enjoyed amazing food -Sweden is next on our list!
Over the years I’ve made so many different things from your recipe collections, and each has been a great hit with friends and colleagues. Their recent favorite is my adaption of your grapefruit custard tartlets. My all-time favorite is mont blanc, and I make it every holiday season. I do have to play with it a little bit since egg whites are always so temperamental, and my method is to combine your recipe with Nigella Lawson’s, Mimi Thorisson’s, and America’s Test Kitchen’s. It’s so much better than any mont blanc one can buy, and it gets me excited to see cooked chestnuts on the shelves of supermarkets starting November.
I have big a big fan of Rachel for years! Loved all of the Little Paris Kitchen episodes, one of my favorite and go to recipes from this cookbook is the Lentilles du Puy avec un fromage de chevre, betteraves et une vinaigrette d’aneth! So many great flavors and textures!
Hi
My favourite recipe is from one of Rachel’s from My little french kitchen, it is for Tarte tatin aux carottes which I have always cooked and had requests for the recipe and is much appreciated by everyone. It looks simple but I have made it with mixed coloured carrots and it looked so pretty that you want to take a picture of it. All I can say is it’s foolproof.
My favorite recipe is the spring lamb stew from the little paris kitchen. I came out of the treatment center and my boyfriend said he has a surprise. I love everything Rachel does so he gave me the cookbook as a present. We cooked it together and it was amazing!
I love you Rachel!!
Well, I would say the croquet mesdames in the muffin tins are great. I love having those for breakfast.
Hi ! My favorite recipe is the one that uses spaghetti as a base for pizza ! Super cool and very easy ! And also it helps with pasta leftovers. Delicious ! Would recomend to everyone. Greetings from Barcelona !
Dear Rachel, I have ben a fan of your kitchen and style since The little Paris book was translated into Italian and published By Luxury books by Csaba dalla Zorza in my country, Italy. My favourite recipe is Croque madame muffins as it is beloved by my daughter on her snacks time
My favorite is the flatbread from Rachel’s Kitchen Notebook in London. I love creating new toppings for this. The latest one was with goat cheese, capers, sundried tomato, minced beef and roasted pine nuts – I love it, thank you for teaching us how to (successfully) make bread in a quick and easy way. Greetings from the Netherlands 🙂
Hi Rachel
I have enjoyed your book Little Paris Kitchen and have also watched it on television, its very hard to pick a favourite but one of my favourites is Chocolate Lava Cake yummy and oozing in indulgent chocolate, I’m a fan of anything that has chocolate in it.
Hello
Creme brulee is my all time favourite from Little Paris Kitchen never fails! 🙂 Xx
I have loved Rachel Khoo since my mother and I found her show on tv several years ago. We gobbled up those episodes. We always loved how Rachel could make the most elegant and intricate dishes in a tiny, tiny kitchen with only a few pots and pans.
I think the Beetroot and Turkey Blinis recipe is really intriguing and a great way to use up beets and turkey. Not that I have a problem using up beets–they are one of my favorite veggies, especially roasted with sweet potatoes, cinnamon and a little nutmeg.
Would love to win a copy of the new book!
Thank you for the giveaway! So far my favorite recipe is the mustard rabbit legs (I use chicken though) from Little Paris Kitchen.
Hi Rachel! Thanks for this opportunity, I am very new in your blog, I discovered you thanks to your colaboration with Sorted Food boys, that video with James and Ben trying to make Shakshuka following the Swedish recipe was really funny, I enjoyed so much the video that I tryed the recipe at home, it was delicious and I have a new way to make spinachs!
Hugs from Spain,
Mel
Cherry Glazed Lamb Shanks with Pilaf (Kitchen Notebook)
Fish with lemon and brown butter sauce, at the moment I’m looking through the website for nice cosy autumn recipes.
My fav at the moment is sticky cassis pork ribs – a great weekend lunch to share!
My roommate and I just made the Croque Madame Muffins for a cool early fall weekend breakfast. They are delicious, quick, and happily sharable! She is considering making them the main for one of her weekend brunches she throws monthly!
Rosemary, lavender and goat’s cheese bread ^_^
It is so hard to choose!
My Little French Kitchen propelled me into the food world, so I must choose a recipe from that book.
I’d have to say, the pumpkin soup served with the apple-caraway crackers!
definitely the raspberry and lemon curd madelines… yummmyyyy!
Hi, enjoying reading Rachel’s newsletters and cooking recipes from The Little Paris Kitchen book. One of my favorites is chicken dumpling soup, very comforting in a sad day and gives you wings in a happy day. Many thanks.

I love lamb so was looking forward to trying the Spring Lamb Stew from The Little Paris Kitchen. It was fabulous and is now a regular part of the family’s meal schedule. Thank you Rachel!!!!!!
Favourite is probably Tarte au Pamplemousse 🙂
That’s tough! Rachel has so many great recipes, but I would have to say the madeleines with raspberries and lemon curd from Little Paris Kitchen is my favorite. Runners up would be the boeuf bourguignon with baguette dumplings, the chicken soup with quenelles, moelleux au chocolat with salted caramel, and the lemon lavender chicken!
Hi Rachel,
I’ve been a huge fan since your Little Paris Kitchen days. I actually just moved into my own tiny apartment with a little kitchen! I love cooking your recipes. Your narrative style and beautiful photography make your books such fun to read. Some favorite recipes have been your mousse au chocolat and fondant au chocolat. Can’t wait to see what your new cookbook has in store.
-Abby
I really enjoyed making your recipe for chouquettes with my granddaughter. She’s only 2 and a half but already loves to bake
So excited to see this competition is worldwide. Ever since I first made the Pistachio and Pomegranate Cake from “Kitchen Notebook” for a dinner party, my friends will not allow me to arrive to a social event without one. As much as I love it, I think my favorite recipe is the cassis ribs with the mint and fava bean couscous from “My Little French Kitchen.” I would use the french title, but I can never remember it. I do have the book pre-ordered, we don’t get it here in the States until the 26th, but I’ll just give that to a friend if I win this one! All my best Rachel!
Favourite recipe: Chicken Dumpling Soup – from the time I saw it you prepare it, I had to give it a go. To make the quenelles and chicken stock … it encouraged me to do both. And is it worth the effort … you bet!!
Hi,
My favourite recipe would have to be the nids de tartiflette (cheese and potato nests) from The Little Paris Kitchen.
I’ve made these so many times and eat them by the tray load.
Thanks
Steve Lynch
Onion petals Spatzles from your London cook book. Even more so after visiting Austria in December last year.
I’ve already tried a lot of recipes of my incredible collection of Rachel Khoo cookbooks, but there’s one recipe I can’t go without it anymore. It’s “The Pistachio and Pomegranate Cake” from “Rachel Khoo’s Kitchen Notebook”. I remember the first time when I made this cake for my mother on her birthday and she couldn’t stop eating this delicious cake. She said it reminds her of our Kurdish culture, because pistachios, pomegranates and youghurt are a part of our eating culture. This cake is easy to make and incredibly pretty with its pink curls. What a dream! 🙂
My favorit is the recepie for the “fast pasta pot”.Why? I’m single and it’s one of the few you wrote for just one person.
But first of all it is an ingenious way to use all the vegetables that I grow in my garden in four raised herbs beds (“Hochbeet”).
It’s also perfect for my diet. Because diet or weight reduction does not necessarily mean giving up good taste.
Actually I’m creating a new vesion every week. It depends on the respective current harvest.
But I always use your recipe as a basis. It’s awesome easy and simple. Absolutely smart.
Good cooking does not need to be difficult or complicated. That’s why I love your books so much.
Roland -Vienna/Austria
My favorite recipe to make from Rachel Khoo’s is her Croque Madames muffins! OMG, it’s so easy and so delicious! She helped me overcome my fear of making French dishes. Thank you!
Currently I am making the oats and banana cookies from the new cookbook that I borrowed from the library. I have them for breakfast every morning. Delicious with strawberries and yogurt. My son now lives in Stockholm with his Swedish partner so I am hoping for Swedish grandchildren. It would be great to have the book to choose recipes for their visits.
My favourite recipe is the Duck ragu with crisp porridge wedges from the Kitchen Notebook.
Hi! I am so excited for your new cookbook,Rachel. I can’t find it here in Peru tho lol I love all your recipes and I’ve watched your show multiple times and the way you combine art with food is also enchanting. As a writer myself,I think of your food as form of art aswell. Thank you for sharing your passion,Rachel. Lots of love!
Boeuf bourguignon with baguette dumplings is one of my favourite recipes from Rachel Khoo’s cookbooks. The favours were astounding. I would so love to win a signed copy of your new Swedish cookbook
My favourite one is the Quiche Lorraine. I made it for a Party and everyone just loved it.
My favourite recipe is the lemon and raspberry madeleines. They are so delicious! Looking forward to reading the new book!
This is a tough choice because you have so many wonderful recipes! I love to make the lemon lavender chicken (The Little Paris Kitchen) for a special evening at home with my husband, the savory cake (Goat’s Cheese, Pistachio & Prune Cake variation on the published recipe in The Little Paris Kitchen) to take to a bridal or baby shower and the sundried tomato ricotta tapenade (Rachel Khoo’s Sweet and Savoury Pates) to have at cocktail parties!
One of your fav recipes I love is Pistou Soup, of course it might be because I am vegetarian and this is so comforting.
Hi our family of 5 is fond of every recipe in all cookbooks. But the one we make the most…..ones or twice a month ….is :
” Boeuf bourguignon avec de quenelles de baguettes ” from ” Chez Rachel ” !!!!
A perfect L❤️VE-family-recipe ❣❣❣
