My favourite flower is the peony, especially as a cut flower. But as there are always so many flowered around I just love seeing them all, especially at the beginning of spring. Those flowers give a hint of what is to come!

We used to live in Norfolk and the doctors garden used to be the first to flower with Winter Aconite. They are a ground covering yellow flowering plant and it used to look like a yellow carpet, it was such a wonderful cheerful sight.

My fave flowers are tulips because of their trumpet flower they have so much to offer visually and always feel if they could make a sound it would be a trumpet fanfare! I adore Gerber for their huge sunshine shape and colours variety and a love the yellow glow of the daffodil and its arrival is a doorway to spring.

Tulips, simple flowers but something so elegant and beautiful.

Anemones – I just love the gogreous deep rich colours.

My favourite has got to be the Daffodil or Dafodol if you are Welsh. Even though I am Welsh I am not being biased. Every time I see a bunch of Daffs they just make me smile. They are so bright and always give the impression they are saying…… Hello, Spring is here.

My favourites are sweet peas for their gorgeous colours and exquisite pong.

It is good to mix Herbs, Veg, and Flowers, in Pots Mixed together Begonias they give beautiful colour thereby you do not notice the small pots with Herbs etc., between them.

Tough question as I have so many I love but Tulips and especially yellow roses (had these in my wedding bouquet) are number one on my list.

I like sunflower, It’s bright yellow colour can lift up your mood and spirit.

Tulips are my favourite flowers. I love all the different colours and they remind me of wonderful holidays I’ve spent in the beautiful Amsterdam. At the moment I’m enjoying cutting them short and putting them in a jam jar, it looks really sweet!

Sweet peas, and roses – I love the scent!

Peonies because of my dad who’d bring bunches from his garden to my first flat and they’d fill my home with scent. Despite planting three in my own garden (8) years ago, the first one bloomed in March when my mom passed in 2015(not since). Then last spring, I lost my Dad. Spring has taken on a new meaning and peonies bring vibrant colour, a heady scent and memories. Easy, bright pink and yellow roses I planted are robust in my steptoe and son garden(think junk) and bleeding heart and geraniums given to me are special too.

After the delightful skunk ‘Flower’ from Bambi, I have to say ‘Smiles’ the purple lavander style plants that pop up in the spring. I just love the name and the smell.

Daffodils and all the different varieties…they are the epitome of Spring!

My favourite flowers are chosen because of their scent. I love Daphne it’s such a strong and fresh smell; and freesia’s because they were my grandmother’s favourites. How could I forget jasmine will always remind me of summer in Melbourne.

My favourite has to be Anemones, in particular those in the dark blue/purple hues. When bought as a cut flower they’re so tightly closed but reveal a few days later their darkly contrasting colours inside xx

I absolutely love roses. I have since I was a little girl. I remember helping my grandma plant some in her garden and when I see them, they always make me smile and think of her. She taught me lots of gardening skills which have helped me throughout my life and I like to think I’m greenfingered because she inspired me as child. I love roses that much I even named our daughter Lena Rose.

Roses of all kinds…flouncy roses, prim & proper roses, all types. Roses remind me of Paris and London where I always stop to admire the flower displays outside shops. Blush is my favorite color of rose but if a bouquet of multicolored roses shows up on my doorstep I will smile and say “merci beaucoup!”

I have so many favorites, it’s hard to pick just one…I do so love camellias…as a small child I loved violas, they have such an intricate design for so tiny a flower! Orange blossoms for their heavenly fragrance.. Japanese Lantern and wisteria reminds me of my mom. Flowers evoke memories and are heaven on earth!!

My favourite flowers are scented climbers like jasmine or honeysuckle.

My favourite flowers are jasmine flowers. I work for a tea company and our delicate white tea is naturally scented with jasmine flowers. Jasmine only releases its scent a night which then absorbs into the tea. This overnight fragrance means jasmine is a really wonderful flower to have in your bedroom as you fall asleep with the delicate perfume!

Normally I would say anything that survives my care, as my track record of growing green things is not great! However, renewed positive attitude and an expensive trip to my garden centre has left me with a tray of herb seeds waiting to sprout. Chosen because I am looking forward to when I can just step outside to snip bits off of of something that I have nurtured to add to a meal that I am creating. Also, I now have a Chines Elm bonsai (named Hedwig), a cactus (named Clive) and another cactus (named Trevor). If they can survive me and my cats, who headboop them too much and also try and eat the cactus(?!) I will attempt to grow an obscene amount of dahlias – my newly realised favourite! (Don’t tell my plant kids)

My favourite is my Croton Plant when it flowers, they are tiny little buds of flowers but boy are they beautiful. It’s supposedly rare for cronton plants to flower outside of greenhouses but my plant (called Oliver ) flowers all the time. It really is something special!

Oh my goodness! Where to start, where to finish. Ranunculus, so many petals, so much joy. Violets, bluebells, pansies, cowslips, snakeshead fritillaries, roses, buttercups,daisies, honeysuckle, peonies, freesias….somebody stop me.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I love scented flowers like Sweet Peas, Garden Roses and Peonies, not only do they smell great, they are perfect as cut flowers for the house, however Foxgloves are brilliant for Bee watching. I also love to see edible flowers in the garden, Nastursiums, Cornflowers, Borage and Strawberry flowers look beautiful and there is something to eat as well!!!

My Favourite flowers are Stocks for their lovely scent and their intricate little petals which look so perfect

Any flowers that bloom during the winter are a special treat. The winter flowering Camelia in my tiny flower bed has just bloomed after 5 years of not producing a flower. If that’s not special, I don’t know what is!

My favourite flowers are Lily of the Valley. They’re so delicate & fragrant. They cheer my soul after Winter’s chill ❤️

Gerberas are my all time favourite! They are so bright and colourful and come in every colour. They cant help but make you smile

Probably an Allium. They are a superb globe shape: defined, structured and bright.

I absolutely love tulips, especially in Paris’ Jardin des Plantes during April when you can see them in all their colours- red, yellow, pink…
