If you’re planning a Parisian sojourn that’s centred around food (and coffee!), you’re in luck. Whether you’re taking a weekend getaway, a leisurely vacation, or even just killing a few hours in Paris, there are an abudance of swoon-worthy locales to while away your day.

Here are five of our favourite eateries in Paris right now:

  1. Holybelly
An inviting Melbourne-esque cafe that tends to draw a diverse crowd, Holybelly is a go-to for brunchers, lunchers and coffee aficionados. Having opened in 2013, this cafe has gained a reputation for quality, care and a casual vibe. Its fluffy pancakes topped with seasonal fruits are a must-try.
  2. Le Pure Cafe
What do you get when you blend the film sets of Amelie, Midnight in Paris and Hotel Chevalier? Well, we imagine you’d get the visual feast that is Le Pure Cafe. This hot spot brings together wholesome, delicious dishes, romantic lighting, a beautiful, traditional fit-out, and warm service.
  3. Du Pain & Des Idées
Call off the search for Paris’ most delicious melt-in-your-mouth croissants: they’re here, at Du Pain & Des Idées (bread and ideas), alongside other wonderfully flaky sweet treats, warm savoury delights and more. Do yourself a favour and pick up the pistachio-and-chocolate-filled escargot pastry to go, and enjoy it while you take a stroll through the neighbouring streets.
  4. Trieze Bakery Paris
Follow a warm, golden glow to this secluded restaurant where you’ll spot a busy team of American expats working behind a fresh fruit juicer and row of decadent-looking cakes. Healthy beverages are served up beside egg-heavy, brunch-style dishes in this ever-bustling spot.
  5. Café Kitsuné Paris
Those wandering around the grounds of the quintessentially Parisian Palais Royale can seek reprieve in this casual coffee nook, where excellent espresso is sipped on bar stools. Café Kitsuné, (Japanese for fox), is a no-fuss cafe, part of the Maison Kitsuné family, where you’re greeted by friendly locals who know their coffee.
