Swedish “filmjölk”, contains a lot of things that is good for your tummy…. Can be found in the Totally Swedish ” shops in London (and everywhere when you visit Sweden). Try it with a sweetener of your choice and cinnamon+ ginger snaps or broken crispbread!
A good night’s sleep…
Strong to taste mint tea, with as little or as much honey or sugar as desired, always works for me on a upset tummy.
My mum’s home remedy for my eye infections (I use to swim a lot as a kid, always had eye infections ) was a couple of drops of lemon juice…! It worked but I wouldn’t recommend it as it was extremely uncomfortable…!
Usually I grate fresh turmeric, ginger into a saucepan of nut/oat/soya milk and add in nutmeg, cinnamon, clove and Cayenne. I also add black pepper as it helps the body absorb the goodness easier, but its not essential. I bring it to the simmer for 5 minutes to infuse and then strain into a mug, its here that you can add maple syrup or any other sweetener to taste. It helps with pain, settles the tummy and helps to give a fab night sleep!
Homemade honey, lemon and ginger tea with a thumb-sized piece of fresh ginger, grated, the juice of half a lemon and three tablespoons of honey. Always works its magic on a nasty cold.

My go-to healthy home remedy is a big mug of homemade almond milk, warmed up and mixed with cinnamon, nutmeg and a drop of honey! 🙂
