Can’t beat avocado on toast (with a sprinkle of cayenne pepper!)
Avocado and tomato salad with poached eggs and a lot of seasonings!
For me, pancakes are a brunch must!
Black pudding & bacon for me
I love to have greek yoghurt with oats sprinkled in, then a fresh fruit compot (what ever I have made that is in season) at the moment it is cherries.. (with kirsch… well it is nearly lunchtime) plus a croissant and coffee 😉
French toast made with panattone and sizzled Parma ham on top (add melted mozzarella or poached egg if you’re hungry)!
Definitely french toast with fresh fruit and maple syrup!
My favourite brunch dish is oven baked egg hash with salsa. It even works at brinner (breakfast for dinner)
Waffles or pancakes with bacon & maple syrup..
I love champagne with brunch!
Tomato’s on toast cooked with a little cream, garlic and chilli, sprinkled with oregano.
little muffins filled with quail eggs and crispy bacon are perfect for brunch!

I Love Homemade Silver Dollar Pancakes w/ a Peach/Blueberry or Raspberry Compote….
Reminds me of Saturdays with my Grandparents. … Some of the best memories I possess.
The best brunches start with a cheeky champagne cocktail, then a wonderful spread of platters of fresh fruit, pancakes stacked high with bowls of greek yogurt on the side, with freshly baked pastries, and pots of hot coffee to finish.
Banana bread French toast topped with lemon curd, crispy bacon and strawberries!
I love homemade English Muffins with Scrambled eggs cooked in Harissa, so yum!
Home made waffles with maple syrup and fruit on top 🙂
Most of the time, it has to be Eggs Benedict – it’s always a treat to have someone else wrangle the poached eggs instead of me.
But once in a while… I do like bacon and banana pancakes with a great big drizzle of maple syrup.
I could say something very healthy / sexy but I’m nothing if not honest! My fave thing to devour is last night’s take out pizza or Chinese food! Yuuuuuum!
Buckwheat pancakes! With maple syrup and bacon or caramelised bananas and nuts!
Poached eggs on dry dark toast with orange slices on the side… simple, and delicious! Thank you!
Porridge made with coconut milk and chopped stem ginger is a lovely comforting brunch with a bit of a kick.
French toas with bacon and maple syrup
My favorite brunch food is eggs benedict!!!! I live for it!
Smoked salmon/smoked crab and cream cheese in a caramelised onion bagel
Testy Lobster Eggs Benny with a refreshing Mimosa1
shakshuka – it’s simply delicious and wholesome.
My favourite thing to have for brunch has got to be mushrooms – lovely big mushrooms and then whatever takes my fancy, if there’s a veggie full English on the menu I’m there!
It’s incredibly hard to go past garlicky mushrooms. Added bonus if they are topped with thyme, gruyere and are sitting atop crusty sourdough!
I can eat Eggs Royale any day, at any time, so not just limited to Brunch times! 🙂
Slice of rye bread with some red onion and tomatoes slices topped up with cheddar cheese, put it in the oven for 5 to 8 minutes. Served with a beautiful side of sautéed spinach with a bit of garlic and chillies! Yummy for my tummy 🙂 xx
My typical brunch would be granola, yoghurt, fresh fruits and honey drizzled over (just what I’m having on my hols in Kefalonia) followed by smashed avocado mixed with lime, chilli flakes salt and pepper on top of toasted bread with of course a runny poached egg on top. Delish in fact I’m going to have some now.
If my husband is cooking, he makes an amazing hash with roast potatoes, smoked sausage, kale and a fried duck egg on top. If I’m cooking it’s croissant pain perdu with cherry compote and creme fraiche. Now we have a baby we’re lucky to get a bowl of cereal and toast!
Brunch should combine the best of breakfast and lunch and should be eaten in good company – sweet berries in a compote on pancakes but also crispy fried chicken in an overloaded sandwich with sweet potato fries in the side. A whole pot of tea to be consumed at leisure. Bacon. Rocket. A tangy tomato relish. Pickles. Eggs – benedict, scrambled or poached. Something boozy. And anything with avocado and hot sauce on top. Yum.
Waffles and bacon with Really good maple syrup and BUTTER…..an a cup of Dark Roast coffee
There is a place in Niagara Falls Canada that has an incredible brunch menu. My dad loved their steak and eggs platter, bit for me it was the Belgian Waffles. Huge waffles slathered in your choice of fruit, syrup and real cream. It came with sides as well.
A favourite brunch is Eggs Florentine with a bloody mary!
