With hygge or cosy season in full swing now, we’re looking for a playlist to set the perfect backdrop to autumnal days.

Whether it’s a chilled out track, a song to warm the cockles of your heart, or a tune that’ll have you shaking off the frost and dancing around the living room, we want to know what you’d add to our ultimate cosy playlist. You might just win a six-month subscription and access to endless music from Deezer too.

Let us know your own favourite cosy songs, then we’ll pick the top suggestions and add them to our playlist! We’ll reveal the playlist at the end of a month, and a delicious Musical Munchie recipe to go along with it.

The team has a few suggestions to get you started; here’s the songs that make us feel cosy:

Sonya: During the cooler months, I like to give Fleet Fox’s ‘White Winter Hymnal’ a spin; Kate Bush’s ‘Cloudbusting’ makes a nice start to a cold morning, and Vivian Girls’ ‘I heard you say’ has a nice toasty music video to watch.

Lara:

A few winter favourites of mine are The Delgados’ ‘We’re Coming in from the Cold’, Mumford and Sons’ ‘Winter Winds’ and Aquaduct’s ‘Hardcore Days and Softcore Nights’.

Hannah:

I’m a massive Disney fan so I love to break out in song to tracks from The Little Mermaid, Mulan and Pocahontas at home. Otherwise I like listening to Rhye’s album, Woman when I’m chilling in the bath.

Sami:

Bonobo ‘Terrapin’ always does it for me; it’s super chilled. I also listen to The Cinematic Orchestra a lot at this time of year, Ma Fleur is a great album of cosy tunes – I can’t count the amount of times I’ve fallen asleep to ‘To Build a Home’.
