Running low on inspiration for nourishing, vibrant meal ideas? Enter Fress: Bold, Fresh Flavours from a Jewish Kitchen, a cookbook that’ll put you on track to flavour central. Author and MasterChef 2015 finalist Emma Spitzer’s collection of inspired recipes is one we’re keen to dive mouth-first into. Fress (Yiddish) translates to mean ‘to eat copiously and without restraint’. This is a term we can comprehend without further explanation. If you too want to go to taste town, here’s your chance to win one of two copies of Fress.

All you need to do to enter is …

  • Comment below your favourite word in a language other than English, and its meaning … (and hey, let’s keep it clean, Khoollectors!)

Fress: Bold Flavours from a Jewish Kitchen by Emma Spitzer, published by Mitchell Beazley, £25, octopusbooks.co.uk

See terms and conditions below. And, in the meantime, cook up this sea bass over spiced chickpeas with confit cherry tomatoes and Moroccan pesto recipe from the book.
