I like your style of rompin’

Guilty of the all-black wardrobe – a projection of my laziness when it comes to style – I thought it was time for a change in how I dress. You can’t wake up and be a fashionista, so I wanted to sculpt a wardrobe that felt like me, was made up of minimal pieces and had that instant i’ve-made-an-effort-factor (but without the hassle). They also needed to be functional! As a photographer, I like to have clothes that are easy to throw on but also easy to move in. During a shoot you’ll be up, down, squatting, lying down, kneeling or tip toeing, so you need clothing that gives.

Enter the playsuit. Or as I’ve been calling it in the office, my romper. Easy to wear and a pop-up fancy look. Here’s my pick of rompers at the moment:

The one that started my new found love for playsuits, this COS number is the perfect balance between casual/fancy. Ideal for work and will see you through to evening activities too. I paired mine with this wonderful mixed bead necklace from COS too.
