We think you’ll love the worlds of #thekhoollectsquad as much as we do.

This week, we’d like to introduce you to Leno, the blogger behind Crazy Cucumber blog. This creative and healthy foodie began her culinary journey in Bali, where an abundance of new ingredients inspired her to cook delicious food with a creative and nutritious twist. By eating and cooking with seasonal whole foods, Leno inspires her readers to live their most balanced and happy life. Now based in New Zealand, she shares recipes that are a combination of her two foodie worlds.

Where in the world do you live? I live in one of the most beautiful places in the world, New Zealand.
What do you #khoollect? I look for healthy food recipes from around the world and I create my own recipes, I write them down and share them on my blog. My blog is my notebook.
What’s your favourite recipe? Before moving to New Zealand I lived in Bali Island for almost four years. I love Indonesian cuisine very much, especially Gado-Gado salad. I think Gado-Gado is food of Balinese Gods. Steamed vegetables, fried tofu and tempeh with plenty of sweet peanut sauce. It’s a fabulous dish, and I can cook it at any time of day or night.
What’s your favourite film? A Bigger Splash (2015), I enjoyed every second of this film. It’s all about beauty.
What’s your favourite book? The Rum Diary by Hunter S. Thompson. This guy knew how to have fun, and at the same time he wrote about serious things.
What’s some of the best advice you’ve ever received? If you are in a hurry then you miss a lot of interesting and inspiring things. Therefore, I very rarely in a hurry. Also, always go in small steps, they lead to success.
