Meet the man behind the food blog Chilli Com Todos, Filipe Lucas Frazão. Based in sunny Lisbon, this creative blogger and food photographer expresses his love for cooking (and chilli!) in both Portuguese and English. An appreciation for the simple things in life, like a good-quality bottle of olive oil or a bowl of homemade pasta is evident in his minimal and uncomplicated photography, where food is always the main focus. Because if one thing is for sure, Filipe loves food. Especially if it has extra chilli in it.

What do you #khoollect? Spices and cookbooks.

What’s your favourite recipe? It’s not easy to choose just one; I’d say octopus rice, a traditional Portuguese dish, and any kind of pasta especially spaghetti carbonara.

What’s your favourite film? Cinema Paradiso

What’s your favourite book? The Kitchen Diaries by Nigel Slater. I read cookbooks like others read fiction.

What’s some of the best advice you’ve ever received? Once someone told me to always look at the world with new eyes, and that is something I try to do every day.
