I always jump at the chance to discover new and emerging fashion designers and experiment with different colours, fabrics and textiles.

Last year, while filming on the Australian television cooking series My Kitchen Rules (MKR), I got the opportunity to put together an exciting new on-set wardrobe. With the help of the MKR stylist, I selected a bunch of staple favourites and some exciting new finds by Australian designers. Here’s a breakdown of what I’ll be wearing on the show. Make sure you watch the show to get a better look.

Rachel Khoo's My Kitchen Rules Wardrobe

Season 7, episode 13

In my debut episode of MKR I wore this yellow and white striped Karen Millen Dress. It’s now a firm favourite of mine. The bold stripes and vibrant tone of the yellow makes it a striking piece that always attracts compliments.

Season 7, episode 14

In this episode I wore a simple ASOS dress paired with these amazing Mimco Shoes. The thing I love about these shoes is they’re perfectly suitable for wearing to the office or out to a party.

Season 7, episode 15

This tropical print skirt is from Australian designer Gi Gi’s. It’s bold and bright and really comfortable paired with a simple orange top from Veronika Maine. The shoes were a basic ‘nude’ coloured pair by Kurt Geiger that I already had in my closet.

Season 7, episode 16

Gi Gi’s is now a favourite of mine, and in this episode I wore this simple blue spot dress. I paired it with a basic cardigan from Review and my own shoes.

Season 7, episode 17

I’m a big fan of prints, and was pleased to find Sydney designer Origami Doll on my travels. I wore their city print skirt teamed with a crisp white shirt by Sportscraft and my own shoes.

Season 7, episode 18

It’s always exciting to come across a beautiful piece of vintage clothing and I was really excited to find this gorgeous purple dress from Mulberry Street vintage boutique. I wore the same Mimco heels I mentioned earlier.
