If you’ve ever been to London’s Maltby Street Markets, chances are you’ve sampled a peanut butter milkshake from Pic’s Peanut Butter, or witnessed some lucky codger stood hypnotised and cooing fondly over his liquid hangover lunch.

500ml (2 cups) unsweetened almond milk

1 cup ice

½ banana

1 tbsp vanilla protein (optional)

1 tsp chia seeds

1 tsp flax seeds

1 tsp sunflower seeds

1 tsp honey or coconut syrup

Equipment:

Blender

Place all ingredients into a blender or food processor and blitz for a couple of minutes.

Pour into two glasses and serve with straws.
